About Us

Our Story

Amjad As working parents to five kids, we’ve been faced with the difficulty of raising children of Arab descent in America. We know the importance of preserving our language and culture, but also realize there are many challenges in instilling these values to children being raised in America. These days most households have both parents working full time, and children are sent to school or daycare where they are speaking English all day, making it even harder to teach our children their native language.

As we were struggling to find a solution to this problem, we came to the conclusion that the best way for children to learn a language is to be around it as often as possible at a young age. The mission of AJYAL ACADEMY is to provide an immersive environment where young children can be surrounded by teachers and staff who are all native Arabic speakers, giving them the foundation to ensure our language and culture is engrained deep in their souls. We are here to make sure the Arab children of Jacksonville have a place to call home for GENERATIONS to come.

Our Mission

To provide an immersive environment where young children can be surrounded by teachers and staff who are native Arabic speakers, giving them the foundation to ensure their language and culture is engrained deep in their souls, while also delivering a safe and nurturing environment to promote optimal development for each and every child.
